Is that Geddy Lee (Rush)?
Obviously influenced by Geddy Lee (Rush) in more ways than one, I should have known better than to follow his fashion. This photo was taken at the Shippensburg Area Senior High School (SASHS) Mid Winter Concert on 02/02/87.
Featured in this photo are (L-R) Donny Ernakovich - Percussion and Matt Norcross - Electric Bass.

SASHS Jazz Band (1987)
This photo of the Shippensburg Area Senior High School (SASHS) Jazz Band was taken at the Chambersburg Mall in, I believe, Spring 1987. Yours truly is sporting a nice gray suit and playing electric bass. Who knows, we could have been playing the Theme from Night Court when this photo was taken.

SASHS Mid Winter Concert 1987
This photo was taken at the Shippensburg Area Senior High School (SASHS) Mid Winter Concert on 02/02/87. However, the Christmas decorations that still adorn the auditorium would suggest that this picture could be from The Christmas Program which took place on 12/14/86.Featured in this photo are (L-R) Donny Ernakovich - Percussion, Matt Norcross - Electric Bass, and Jason Wert - Drums.
P.S. Note to self - Stop trying to look like Geddy Lee (Rush)!

First Photo Session
These pictures were taken at our very first photo session in Fall 1987 at the infamous "F*** Up Plot" on the outskirts of Shippensburg, PA. At this time, we were known as The Secret Society. It wasn't until Fall 1989 that we formed the electro-terrorist unit, Any Questions?.

School's Out for Summer!
The Place: Shippensburg Area Senior High SchoolThe Time: Spring 1987
The Occasion: Last day of school in 11th grade
The Fashion: Hilarious!
Yes, that's me wearing a tie dye t-shirt (my favorite one of many that I owned), robin's-egg blue shorts, and flip-flops (I called them Ethiopian sandals). For those who met me after I went to college (Fall '88) should be quite shocked and amused by this picture since I've worn, almost exclusively, all black clothes from that time on. However, back in the day, I was quite colorful with my wardrobe.
P.S. Thanks to Kim (Scott) Hepfer for sharing another magical moment from my "colorful" past.
