The third and most brutal of Imbued Vagary’s Trilogy of releases in 2015 is titled Noise. This extreme music release showcases the harsher side of our Floating Fish Studios Synth Jam live improv sessions. Synthesis, sampling, and special effects meld together to form these harsh and noisy sonic experiments.
Hold on… This ride gets bumpy!

This release is a collection of our best live performances at the SHAPE Solstice Arts Festival and SHAPE Gallery. The first 7 tracks are from our 2013 performance at the 8th Annual SHAPE Solstice Arts Festival. This was our second foray to the festival and we delivered an electrically charged show for the festival attendees. The last 3 tracks of this release are taken from our 2012 SHAPE Gallery performance for the opening reception of DEEP - 10th Annual Abstract Exhibit. We played to a crowded house of artists and patrons that had come to see a spectacular exhibit and they were not disappointed.
The Imbued Vagary Collective would like to thank all the officers (past and present) of SHAPE (Shippensburg Arts Programming & Education) for their ongoing commitment to supporting the arts in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania.

It’s sad that most Radio Shack stores are closing. I could go into the details of this but it has already been much talked about. You can read about why it failed here.
Fortunately for consumers, Radio Shack’s demise means that there are some good deals to be had. While looking through my local store, I came across some very cheap MIDI couplers and the littleBits Korg Synth Kit. With a savings of about $50 on the kit, I had to pick one up. Let the synth building begin!
This track, titled The Dark and Lowly Theme, is from mC2p4’s upcoming Soundtrack project. Expect to hear more about this project in the weeks to come from Floating Fish Studios.

Recorded live at Der Palast des Goldes in 1989, this shows that Imbued Vagary has been creating electronic Noise for a long time. Originally titled, Ride it To... (Bugs in the Rug), this improv shows that a Yamaha DX-7 can be used to create Noise too.
Those with sensitive hearing.. You better grab some ear plugs!
