Audio Wiring Complete!

After a very protracted install process, I'm pleased to announce that all, that's right "all", audio wiring has been run at Floating Fish Studios. This is definitely cause for celebration. Perhaps an inaugural Synth Jam is called for.

Special thanks to MC2P4 and Kim Scott for helping me finally finish this portion of the full install. Next up... MIDI.

Vinyl Available Here!

Yes, at FFS you can even listen to your favorite 70's, 80's, and early 90's music on vinyl!

Looking for Metallica's Creeping Death on blue vinyl?  It's here!  How about Devo's Q: Are We Not Men? A: We Are Devo! UK Picture Disc?  It's here!  Maybe a Cure live bootleg LP?  It's here.

Whether you want classic rock, progressive rock, new wave, electronic, ambient, industrial, metal, death metal, hair metal, NWOBHM, you can be sure to find something here.  You might even be able to find a Madonna album if you really want to!

Unboxing the Audio Library

I finally made time to build media towers for the Audio Library so I was able to get out some of my CDs and cassettes to set up part of the room.  I think that borrowed (and temporary) shadeless lamp is a nice touch.  It really adds to the decor of the room!

Even more boxes...

This will soon be the Audio Library in the new FFS. It will house all commercial and FFS CDs, cassettes, vinyl, DATs, ADATs, 1/2" reel to reel, and maybe even a couple of 8-tracks. Yeah, that's right. Even I have some Jethro Tull Aqualung, Heavy Horses, and Songs from the Wood on 8-track. I couldn't pass up those $1 bargain bin buys from old department stores like S.E. Nichols, G.C. Murphy, and Woolco back in the early 80's.
