Fresh from Imbued Vagary’s live streaming event on NYE 2015, Floating Fish Studios held its first Synth Jam Session of 2015 at FFS II on 01/01/15.  The ensemble gathered included (from L to R) Matt Norcross (aka Ttam Troll), M Scott McConnell (aka MC2P4), and Dave Chandler (aka Thee Sub One Genius).

This track, titled Overload, is an electronic experiment from the session.  Be careful!  There’s just no telling where this may lead…

Imbued Vagary Live at SHAPE Solstice Arts Festival

Imbued Vagary will return to the stage this year at the SHAPE Solstice Arts Festival in Shippensburg, PA on 06.20.15 at 3PM. The band line up for this performance includes Ttam Troll - Synthesizers, MC2P4 - Synthesizers, and LTJTHC - Electronic Percussion.

If you're a fan of electronic music and sonic experimentation, be sure not to miss this show. Join us as we transport you from the lush green fields of Britton Park to the cold vacuum of deep-space and beyond with our improvised synthetic tapestry of pure synthesizer soundscapes.

Recorded at FFS on 06/07/15, it features MC2P4 (Synthesizers), Ttam Troll (Synthesizers), and LTJTHC (Electronic Percussion).  Our performance on 06/20/15 will be one not to miss!

The Lighthouse

The Lighthouse was a family restaurant located near Chambersburg, PA.  Back in the mid-'80s, it was the scene of my very first public performance as a musician.  I was in a group assembled by my first electric bass instructor, Howard Bly, and consisted of students he taught.  This group was comprised of Jennifer Coffey (Piano), Dirk Frey (Guitar), and myself (Bass).  

On this evening, we played spiritual music in a talent show and though we performed admirably, we were beaten a little boy who sang.  We didn't have a chance.  The cute little kid always wins at a talent contest.

Our little group went on to have a few more performances at local churches before we all moved on to more contemporary musical pursuits.  Dirk and I formed The Secret Society (rev1) with Scott McConnell.  The rest, as they say, is history.

Here is a photo I managed to take this year (2015) when I visited the establishment.  It's a church now and they were having an indoor yard sale.  Where you see the small PA system on the right hand side of the photo is where they had a small stage located all those many years ago.

Liner Notes:
The third and most brutal of Imbued Vagary’s Trilogy of releases in 2015 is titled Noise.  This extreme music release showcases the harsher side of our Floating Fish Studios Synth Jam live improv sessions.  Synthesis, sampling, and special effects meld together to form these harsh and noisy sonic experiments.
