New Imbued Vagary 6 CD Collection Coming Soon

Scheduled for release in early 2021 is a 6 CD collection of new music from Imbued Vagary.  Clocking in with over 6 1/2 hours of electronic experiments, it features 2 new installments in the Captured Moments series, 2 new installments in the Noise series, 1 new installment in the Live series, and a release titled, Wheels of Steel.

Artwork has been completed.  Mastering is in progress at DSBP Records with Tommy T Rapisardi.  Stay tuned for further release details.

New Imbued Vagary Releases on the Horizon

It may have seemed that things were a little quiet at Floating Fish Studios and with the Imbued Vagary Collective during the second half of 2020.  However, that statement couldn't be further from the truth.  

Scheduled for release in early 2021 is a 6 CD collection from Imbued Vagary.  Clocking in with over 6 1/2 hours of electronic experiments, it features 2 new installments in the Captured Moments series, 2 new installments in the Noise series, 1 new installment in the Live series, and a release titled, Wheels of Steel.  Wheels of Steel spotlights the turntablism of Paul "Wheels of Steel" Doppelganga.

Mastering, artwork, and production are next.  Stay tuned for further release details.

FrightWorld on Blu-ray!

While doing a random search for FrightWorld (the first full-length film that Any Questions?/Floating Fish Studios worked on), I came across this version of the film on Blu-ray.  I didn't even know it existed.  It appears that is was released in 2019 and even has a commentary track by director, David R Williams.  Classic!

Release Notes:
The material on this release was created by a subset of the Imbued Vagary Collective whom included Mary Mary, mC2p4, Thee Sub One Genius, and Ttam Troll on 06.08.19 at Floating Fish Studios II.  These spontaneous improvisations were recorded in the sequence in which they are presented here without any overdubbing or manipulation.  The final track, Disease, is a prescient musical warning of the ensuing novel coronavirus (COVID-19) that now ravages the world. Will humankind fade into silence as this track does or will our story continue?

"These compositions were taken from our first improvisational sessions for the science-fiction film, Interstellar Invasion. They are at times sonically unruly and rough around the edges. However, they captured the essence of the bizarre scenes that we were scoring for and have thus deservedly earned this proper release. During these sessions, we had composed much more material. Some of which is used in the film and some that we did not use. Eventually, we may release the rest of this material but, for now, enjoy this small sampling from our film score."
